Our People Results Would Feel Impossible

If they Weren't So Real

We see the intersection of work, technology, and the human condition with unusual clarity. It’s why we know how to solve even the most complex people problems. It’s not hubris when it’s data.

If they Weren't So Real

Our People Results Would Feel Impossible

We see the intersection of work, technology, and the human condition with unusual clarity. It’s why we know how to solve even the most complex people problems. It’s not hubris when it’s data.

Our Mission

To help the organizations whose missions we support to succeed in their goals and aspirations by solving their hardest people challenges: employees, clients, product users, and prospects.

IT'S NOT MAGIC

We create and deliver tangible solutions: products, workshops, and interventions based on a client’s explicit needs. Sometimes we build from scratch. Sometimes, we use what we’ve already built. Every time, we get results.

HOW WE DO IT?

Between us we have talent, subject matter expertise and an almost unbelievable breadth of experience in all the right places. Applied behavioral science. Industrial / Organizational Psychology. Entrepreneurialism. Product Design. Organizational Culture. Sales and Marketing. When you understand people instinctively, scientifically and academically, it applies everywhere that people are. And it works everywhere that people are.

The Glinda Group Story

Laura and Jordan should not have been friends. We met in a very complex and competitive environment, and ended up pals anyway. Our skill sets were totally complementary, we couldn’t collaborate any better, and we both nerd out on pop culture. So, here we are.

The trust our clients place in us is incredibly rewarding. The trust we place in each other is even better.

Meet the Founders

Laura Martin, MBA

CO-Founder, CEO

Laura’s work is proof that you don’t need a spotlight to create lasting change. She’s helped build teams where people grow, businesses weather storms, and numbers improve by accident because people come first. From her years at Target to her leadership in tech and HR, Laura’s driving ambition has been to make workplaces a little more human, a bit more resilient, and much more fun. She doesn’t have all the answers, but never stops searching for better ones.

Jordan Scott Birnbaum, MA

CO-Founder, Thinker/Doer

Jordan’s current title of Thinker / Doer is an apt description for his career, defined by insatiable curiosity and bias for action. From finance to Internet to hospitality to HR tech, Jordan has always a knack for influencing people and building new things. Despite a lot of accomplishments, all he ever thinks about are the connections.

Our Approach

Observable behaviors are the only signal. Everything else is noise. Our clients love us because we deal in signal, exclusively.

The only path to a healthy organizational culture is to ensure status for every employee. If it doesn’t come from their job, it can come from their role as a teammate.

We normalize errors in judgment and make agility cool. The last thing we need is psychological resistance to healthy adaptation.
Removing friction is usually more impactful than adding fuel. We design everything to be a water slide—once you start, you don’t stop.

Client Retention & Testimonials

There’s a reason our clients keep bringing us back. Actually, a lot of reasons.

“We were clear on our development focus for the year. What was much harder was identifying the right partner to work with—one that is innovative and nimble, could bring best practice and industry experience, and keep our team engaged and challenged. A tall order, and one that the Glinda Group knocked out of the park!”

Sarah Waite, CHRO
Second Harvest Heartland

“I had sky-high expectations for Jordan and Laura, and they exceeded them. Their contributions to our business have been broader and more impactful than I ever could have imagined, and I want more.”

Darryl Kelly, CEO
Aspect Software

“I’m not going to say anything nice about The Glinda Group because I want them all to myself.”

Maria Colacurcio, CEO
