Creativity Is Our
Competitive Advantage

We helped define the modern talent market, individually and collaboratively, at the helms of ADP’s Compass and StandOut, respectively. We have designed products that drove positive change at scale, managed teams to build expansive and devoted client rosters, and succeeded in a fabulously broad range of contexts and environments.

Jordan and Laura should not have been friends

Through no doing of their own, they met as professional adversaries. But it didn’t matter. They clicked, and found a way to partner that allowed both sides to grow and thrive. That unlikely partnership revealed extraordinarily complementary skill sets and an unmatched ability to collaborate, leading them here.

But Jordan and Laura found an instant connection. And amidst a chaotic backdrop, they partnered in a way that allowed both products to grow and thrive. Over the years, they became trusted friends and colleagues. Eventually, both moved on, each having their own adventures while staying in touch. Jordan eventually created a consulting practice, applying social science to solve people and business problems. He had success as a solo practitioner, but he realized two things: he needed help growing and managing the business, and he didn’t want to run it, but rather focus on what he loved, thought leadership, and product design.

He knew he needed a CEO, and created a candidate list of one. It was the person who built the best organizational culture he had ever seen, the person whose entire career consisted of taking on new roles and blowing away expectations, and the person with whom he had built one of the most trusting and rewarding work relationships of his life. When Jordan called Laura, he didn’t have to work very hard. Her career was a rocket ship, but it was taking her farther away from what mattered to her. And she begrudgingly agreed with Jordan that it was time for her to be a CEO.

During an early visit to Jordan’s home office in Long Island, NY, Laura explained why she was excited to go on this journey together. “I’ve seen you use behavioral science to improve the lives of people you have never met. You’re like a wizard, but for good.”

“Yeah, like Glinda,” he laughed.

And here we are.
